Buckeye Tours

Reservations: NO reservation is confirmed until we are in receipt of your deposit. All reservations are taken on a first-come, first confirmed basis and must be accompanied by a per person deposit of funds in the amount specified, by personal check. money order, Visa, Master Card, Discover or cash.  Your Cancelled check is your receipt.

Refund Policy: Should you find it necessary to cancel any tour, we will refund your full payment providing that the cancellation occurs at least 7 business days prior to the departure, EXCEPT where we cannot recover our cost for tickets, rooms, meals, attractions or transportation paid on your behalf.  Cancellations occurring after this time will be subject to a service charge of $15.00 per person PLUS any non-refundable incurred cost. We are sorry; however, we do not offer refunds for tours cancelled the day of departure, or for no-shows.  Travel insurance is highly recommended on all tours. Additional information is found on page 3 of the brochure.

Deposit: A deposit of $25.00 will hold your reservation for one day tours and $75.00 for most overnight tours, unless otherwise indicated.

Final Payment: All Final Payments are due 30 days prior to departure unless otherwise indicated.  Luggage tags, hotel list and any other necessary information is forwarded to travelers about 3 weeks prior to departure.

Luggage: Luggage handling is included on all overnight tours for one (1) piece of luggage per person.

Seat Rotation: The tour escort may ask you to rotate seats at regular intervals.

Gratuities: All tips have been included in your tour price for your included meals, drivers and guides.  We ask that there be no tips collected for the driver and escort (all gaming tours and Buckeye Basic Tours excluded).

Smoking: For passengers comfort, we have a No Smoking Policy.

Handicap or Disability: Persons with Handicaps or disabilities are welcome on our tours.  If you have a handicap or disability and would like to request specific assistance or accommodations, please notify us so we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your request.

Have a Group: If you are a member of a club or organization that likes to travel together, we'd be happy to assist you in planning a group tour. We can work with your group in every area of planning, promoting and running an extremely successful and enjoyable tour.  Many clubs sponsor tours as a means of fund-raising.

Buckeye Tours: Is a bonded and insured tour operator registered in Ohio, T.A. #0472, and a member in good standing with the National Tour Association, Inc.  We use only license, bonded and insured transportation companies for your protection.

Responsibility: In common with other companies, Buckeye Tours acts only as an agent for tour members in arranging for room accommodations, transportation, sight-seeing, admissions and restaurant reservations.  Buckeye Tours reserves the right at its sole discretion to make changes in the itinerary and is not responsible to any person for expenses, loss of time, money or other happenings resulting for a change of tour schedule made by it for tour members.  Buckeye Tours, reserves the right to accept, decline or to retain any person as a member of the tour and is not responsible for any losses of damage of personal property, or for injuries expenses or damages incurred or claimed by any tour members, and strongly suggests insurance.  Buckeye Tours also reserves the right to substitute hotels, meal, or attractions of equal or better value, is necessary.
